1. What is the new Client Paid FlexFund Fee in ISN?
The new option allows inspectors to charge the FlexFund service fee directly to clients who choose to use FlexFund, instead of including the fee in the inspector's regular inspection charges.
When the Client-Paid FlexFund Fee is enabled in ISN, the associated fee will be clearly displayed to the client in several areas.
Invoice
A separate line item labeled FlexFund Service will appear on the invoice to indicate the associated fee.
Online Scheduler
If FlexFund is enabled in the Online Scheduler, and the client selects it, a note will appear showing the price of the service. The FlexFund fee will also be added to the cart and displayed in the final total at checkout.
Payment Page
When FlexFund is enabled, the option to pay with FlexFund will be displayed only for the services and inspection types you've selected to offer it on.
If the client chooses to pay using FlexFund, the system will add a new line item showing the applicable fee. This fee will be included in the order summary total.
