To add a link to a video in an email template, a few steps must be performed.

First, an image of the video would need to be inserted/uploaded to the email template. On windows computers you can use the Snipping Tool and on a Mac computer you can use Command + Shift + 4.

Navigate to Email -- My Email Templates and either edit an existing email template or click to Add Email Template

Open the email Template to Edit or Create a new Template if required.

Click on the blue Upload Image or File button.

The previous action will open the folders available on your computer. Search for the video image and click on "Open".

The image will now appear in the email template, and the second step will be to link that image to a URL/website link, which would be the link to the website that hosts the video.

Click on the image that is now located within the email template until it turns blue. (Please note the image can be re-sized as well when clicking on it; just use the mouse to move the corners of the image.)

Clicking on the insert link icon (as shown by red arrow below) will bring up the following frame. This is where the URL/website address of the video needs to be inserted:

Once the URL/website address has been inserted and the target field is designated as New Window, click on OK.

You have now linked an image to a URL/website address! When an email recipient clicks on the image from the email they will be re-directed to the webpage that hosts the video! We recommend adding text to the email template that instructs them to click on the image.
