Welcome to our article on enhancing your email templates with hyperlinks! In today's fast-paced digital world, effective communication is paramount. Hyperlinks are clickable connections to web pages, documents, or other online resources, they have the power to elevate your emails from basic text to interactive and engaging messages.
In this guide, we'll walk you through the simple yet impactful process of adding hyperlinks to your email templates.
First, navigate to 'Email' > 'My Email Templates'
Next, click on the pencil icon located in the toolbar of the template where you want to add the hyperlink.
Now that you're on the template editor, position your cursor where you want to add the hyperlink. Write the word or sentence that your client will click to access your preferred online resource.
After completing those steps, simply select the text and click on the hyperlink icon located at the top of the template editor. A new window will appear. In the first field labeled 'URL' paste the link you wish to add. Then, choose whether you want the link to open on the same page by selecting 'None' from the 'Target' dropdown, or if you want it to open in a new browser tab when clicked by choosing 'New window.' Finally, click 'Ok' to add your hyperlink.
Note: Adding a title to your hyperlink is optional; if you include a title, it won't appear on the template.
You also have the option to add the hyperlink using an image instead of text. To be able to do this you need to click on the option "Upload image or file".
Select an image from your computer files. Once you have done this you can resize it to your liking if needed.
Then repeat the same process as for the text, except that instead of selecting the text you will be selecting the image.
Once you've completed the steps, make sure to click on the 'Save Template' button at the bottom of the page!
