Inspection support network has a number of ways to edit and customize your email templates to suit your business needs, including adding a hyperlink within a template to easily send clients and agents to your website.

Edit an Email Template

First navigate to Email→ My Email Templates. From here you will need to select the Edit button next to the email template you would like to change.

Once inside the "Edit View" of the email template, you can make changes to your email template.

Creating the Hyperlink

The first step when creating your hyperlink is to highlight the text or image within the message that will be your link.

Once highlighted select the hyperlink icon on the Edit ribbon.

Once selected the hyperlink icon will open a small dialogue box for you to customize your link.

Within the Insert Link dialog box you will see four options:

URL - The address of the webpage you will be linking to. The simplest way to ensure the correct URL is applied, copy the website URL from your address bar and paste it to the URL field.

Text to Display - The text within the document that will open the webpage when clicked.

Title - The title of the link. (for internal use only)

Target - The target drop down provides two options, “None” or “New Window”

New window, forces the device clicking on the link to open a new window when opening the webpage, while None does not.

Using an Image as a Hyperlink

The process for using an image as a hyperlink is the same as text.

First you will need to upload your image to the email template.

After you have uploaded the image, highlight the image and select the hyperlink icon to show the insert link dialogue box.

If you have any questions about this process please let us know! You can reach us by chat, email at help@inspectionsupport.com, or phone at (800) 700-8112.
