The Importance of Default Order Form Controls
The ISN allows you to fully customize your order form! This includes adding, deleting, re-arranging and editing each order form section and doing the same for controls under each section. Doing so is a great way to make the order form your own but will need to be done carefully. This is because there are order form controls that are set up by default when each ISN page is built and are needed for the entire order form to work as expected.
An example would be the services control.
This control would allow you to link services seen under Settings > Office Settings > Services & Packages to that specific order.
As seen in the screenshot below, the standard residential property full inspection is visible in the Services & Packages section of the order form because of this order control. If this control is deleted, then it will not allow email events set to be sent if specific services are selected or agreements to be linked to this order.
Below is a list of required order form controls:
Client. Allows you to Search for an existing client or gives you the ability to add a new client to the contact database.
Buyer's and Seller's Agent. Allows you to Search for an existing agent or gives you the ability to add a new agent to the contact database. Both are extremely important.
Subject Property. Will allow you to enter the street address of the property that will be inspected, this control is needed for order mapping and scheduling.
Inspection Type. Similar to the services control, this control will link inspection types to each order.
Year Built. Allows the input of the year the property was built in. (this control is directly linked to the property age calculator, click here for more information.)
