We understand the importance of having an efficient process for managing fees associated with your services. This article serves as your comprehensive guide to navigating the different options available for creating, editing, and deleting fees directly within ISN's Fee Settings. To begin, you can go to Settings > Office Settings and choose the Fees option.
Automated Calculators
Let's kick things off with the drop-down menu on the right side of the screen labeled 'View More.' This menu enables you to access various automated calculators designed to assist you in determining the appropriate price based on property characteristics like size, distance, location, property age, type of foundation, and more.

How to Add a New Fee
To create a new fee, click on the + Create New button at the top right order of the fee page:
The new fee will appear highlighted in yellow on your screen. You can begin editing it right here.
Let's name the fee, set a default value, and add a description. In the example below, We named the fee "New Test Fee," set a default value of $150.00, and provided a suitable description:
Now, let's go over the characteristics our fee can possess.
Options. Refer to this article for more details on these.
Calculators. This is where we choose the suitable automatic calculators to be associated with the fee (remember, you can use the View More button at the top right corner of the page to view/edit the calculator of your choice, as explained above).
Taxes. You can pick a tax to be applied to this fee from the listed Taxes. Once a tax is selected, ISN will automatically calculate the tax on the total fee.
Once you're ready to save your changes, click on the save icon on the right:
You'll then encounter a confirmation screen, displaying the modifications you've just made to the fee. How awesome is that! To confirm, simply click on Confirm.
And there you have it! You've successfully created your fee.
It's worth noting that the fee options will be highlighted in blue, and the calculators in red for easy viewing.
How to Edit a Fee
We've observed how to add a fee. Editing a fee isn't much different. Instead of using the + Add Fee button, we need to find the fee we want to edit and click on the pencil icon on the right:
We'll encounter the same editing options we observed when creating the fee, but this time they'll be in gray.
In this example, we included the Primary Fee option with the Standard Inspection Fee. Observe how the screen shifted from gray to yellow, signaling that we've just modified the fee.
You can track your changes to the fee before saving it by using the Review Changes button on the right top corner:
This will show you the changes you've made so far:
Be careful! Once you click on Confirm while on this page, the changes will be confirmed and saved! Use the Cancel button if you want to continue editing them instead. Let's click on the Save button:
In this particular case, since I selected the Primary Fee option, another fee stopped being the Primary Fee. That's why we'll see the two affected fees on the confirmation window:
Once the Confirm button is clicked, the changes will be saved.
How to Delete a Fee
Deleting a fee is quite straightforward. First, find the fee you want to delete, click on the three dots on the right, and choose Delete. You'll be prompted to confirm before proceeding with the deletion.
How to Delete Multiple Fees
On that same screen, you can use the checkboxes on the left to pick multiple fees and, ultimately, use the Delete button at the top right corner of the screen to remove the selected fees with a single click.
