Multiple Clients - How Agreements Work

We'll go through the workflow and how agreements are affected when more than 1 client is added to a single inspection in ISN

It is finally here, the ability to add more than 1 client to a single inspection is now live. If you are wondering how to add additional clients to an order you can refer to this article. The maximum number of clients you can have per inspection is 5.

With 2 or more clients in your inspection order, all email events and SMS events will be going out to all clients as long as they have a valid email address or mobile phone with the "send SMS events" checkbox checked respectively.

However, for agreements only the primary client will be able to sign any required agreements needed for said order. The primary client will be able to continue through the signing process:

All other additional clients added to the order will see this screen when they access the agreement link and the "Read & Sign" buttons will be grayed out and a note explaining who can sign these agreements:

*Once all agreements have been signed by the primary client, all other clients will be able to download a copy of the signed agreement(s).

Important note: If the primary client forwards the email to another party, the recipient will be able to sign all required agreements. Forwarding the agreement link will also forward the privilege to sign them.

Manually sending the agreement link

Whenever try to manually send the agreement link using the option under Actions--View/Send/Sign Agreement while viewing an order or from the order grid you will only be presented with the option to send it to the primary client as they are the only ones that can actually sign the agreement

You can click on the blue "Email" option on the right-hand side of the pop-up window which will populate the primary client's email address on the field below. You can then click "Send" to send the agreement link to the primary client.

If you instead opt to select an email template that includes the agreement link you will only be given the choice to autofill the primary client's information. The steps would be from the order view page Actions--Send email template:

Then click the primary client's "To" option to populate their email address on the "To:" section underneath and finally click "Send email template" at the very bottom.

Important note: If you manually enter another email into the "To:" section that does not belong to the primary client and use a template that includes the agreement link on it, then the recipient will not be able to sign the agreement since they are not the primary client on the order.

Final note: Try not to change who the primary client is for the inspection once the agreement link has been sent as this could cause some issues revoking signature access or other issues.
