If you are using a Gmail account to send emails from ISN to your clients, agents, contacts, inspectors, and others you may need to update your SMTP settings within ISN to avoid difficulty sending emails once GMails disables this feature starting October 1st 2024.

We know that many of our users rely on their Gmail account to send emails from ISN, the good news is that you can alleviate this behavior by using an App Password generated from your Google settings to avoid having issues when sending emails.

To see if you're currently using SMTP to send emails within ISN, navigate to Settings--SMTP Settings and click "Verify" if there is an entry. If this comes back successful, SMTP is currently being used.

To generate your App Password from your Google settings page and enable it on ISN please follow the instructions in this article.
