Building the report is not only possible from the Mobile Report Writer. You can also edit the report details, add comments, add details etc. from the comfort of a desktop using the Web Report Writer.
You can find it by accessing the Order Grid and navigating to Inspections > Scheduled Inspections:
Once you access the Order Gird, there will be two options to find the Report Writer in your ISN.
Option 1
Find the order where you will be working on first, and click the Open button. Then select the option "Write Report" from the drop-down menu.
Option 2
If you already have the order opened, simply click the Actions button. Then select the "Write Report" option from the drop-down menu.
You will open the Web Report Writer. In case you haven't selected a template for the inspection, you will be prompted to choose one.
After you select a template, you will see the following screen:
On the left side of the screen, you will find all the categories included in the template.
1.- You can select one of the categories.
2.- That will open all the items inside that category:
When you click on any of the items, on the right side of the screen you'll see all the item fields, where you can select the comments, details, media etc.
ADD DETAILS AND COMMENTS
You can easily enter the details to describe your item. or select the comment that best describes the condition if the item inspected:
ADD MEDIA
Adding images is very simple. When you access the comments or details section in your items, please find the "Add Media" button.
That will open the file browser in your PC where you can select the image.
BACK TO THE MAIN MENU
Once you're finished completing your report by adding comments, details and images etc. You can:
Click on "Introduction" to go back to the main Web Report Writer Menu.
Add a cover photo
Review the report and how that would look when it's published
Mark the order "complete" so the report is reflected in the ISN order.
