How to Create a Pre-Written Description using the Template Editor

Descriptions allows you to add customizable details specific to the inspected item. For example, if the item is an appliance, with descriptions you can describe the voltage, manufacturer, location, any additional information, and more.

Having pre-written descriptions can help you save time when you are creating the inspection report. You can create item descriptions with your own words and saved them in your template for future use.

First, you will need to access your office settings in ISN and open the template editor.

On the right side of the screen, you will see two options for different purposes

1.- Add New will be used to create a new template

2.-The Pencil icon will be used to edit an existing template.

You can select one of these two options depending on what you are trying to achieve. (Edit an existing template or creating a description in a new template.

Once you open the template, you will have to find the category where you will be working on.

1.- Please click on the "2 horizontal lines icon"

2.- Then, you will see all the items already created in that category.

Select the item where you will be working on first and click on 2 horizontal lines icon. Then find the item where you will apply those changes and find the "Description" section:

There will be 3 checkboxes by default but you can add more. Each checkbox is a description. You can click on the "Edit List" button to change the description in each box.
