Comments are used to describe the condition of the entire inspected item. It will include pre-written verbiage (AKA narratives). Those comment are provided in the template, but you can customize your own comments.
Having pre-written comments can help you save time when you are creating the inspection report. You can create comments with your own words. These comments will be saved in your template for future use.
First, you need to access your office settings in ISN and open the template editor.
On the right side of the screen, you will see two options for different purposes
1.- The button "Add New" will be used to create a new template
2.-The "Pencil" icon will be used to edit an existing template.
You can select one of these two options depending on your preferences.
Once you open the template, you will have to find the category where you will be working on.
1.- Please click on the "2 horizontal lines icon".
2.- You will see all the items already created in that category.
Please find the category that you need to adjust and click on it. Then please scroll down until you find the comment section.
Example:
Once you find the comment section, you can either:
1.- Edit an existing comment in order to add more content
2.- Add a new comment.
If you select the option "Add New Comment" you will create a new empty comment. You will need to click on the Pencil icon to add a title.
Whether you add a new comment or edit an existing one, you will see the following screen:
1.- In this field you can enter the text
2.- You can use this option to associate a rating directly to that comment. That way you don't have to manually select a rating after adding a comment.
3.- The default location can be used if the comment is associated to an specific section of the property.
4.- You can add an informational photo that can describe the comment.
5.- Finally you can also add a tag that will be directly tied to the comment.
