Sometimes home inspection companies will have to work together with other parties, in these cases there's a Relocation Home Inspection agent involved, you can add the Relocation Contact Control. This will allow you to have the fields added to your Order Form and add the information to have it linked to the inspection order.
To easily find the Contact Control in your Order Form, we recommend you add a Section (Tab) for Contacts only.
To add the new section go to Settings --> Office Settings and under the heading: Inspection and Fee Settings click on Customize Order Form.
From there click '+Add Section':
Name your new section, for example, Contacts then Save:
Once you have added the Section, it's time to add the Control.
In your new Contacts Section, click on Controls:
Click on the '+ Add a Control' button:
On the Control Type dropdown menu lookup the Relocation Contact Control and select it, you will see the next fields display:
1.- This is a preview of how this Control will look like in the Order Form
2.- The Control Dropdown (here is where you select the Control to add to your system)
3.- What you would like to name the Control in your ISN
4.- Short description, which will only be visible to the users with permission to edit Controls
Once you have finished setting up the Control, click on the Add Control button to save it.
You will be sent back to the Order Controls. Now, if you want that Control to be added to the Order Form, make sure that the "Show in Order Form" option in the 6th column is checked in Green:
As with other contact information controls, the Relocation Control will appear like this on the Order Form:
You can search for an existing contact, or add a new contact and specify that in the order, there isn't a Relocation Contact listed in the system.
