The Date/Time/Duration Control is one of the main tools in your Order Form, it will set the scheduling details for the inspection and will display features to facilitate this process.

If for some reason you accidentally delete the tab and/or the Control, or want to customize your Order Form in a different way than it is currently set up, you can follow the next article to Add the Control to the Order Form.

These are the Date/Time/Duration settings that you have to set up before adding it to the Order Form Sections:

1.- The Control Dropdown (here is where you select the Control to add to your system)

2.- How would you like to name the Control in your ISN

3.- Short description of this new Control

Once you have finished setting up the Control, click on the Add Control button to save it.

You will be sent back to the Order Controls. Now, if you want that Control to be added to the Order Form, make sure that the "Show in Order Form" option in the 6th column is checked in Green:

This is how the Control will look like in the Order Form:

Below is a brief explanation of how each one of the Date/Time/Duration options works:

  • Date: If you click on that field a Calendar will display for you to select the date in a very simple but efficient way.

  • Start Time: In that dropdown, you can select the time for the inspection according to your Office Hours.

  • Duration: This is where you set up the time that will take the Inspector to perform the Inspection, this can be manually changed or if you have previously set up the duration of the inspections to be automatically calculated you can leave it as it is.

NOTE: If you noticed that the inspections' duration is too high or low, CLICK HERE to know about the different scenarios that might be causing this issue.

  • Locator: The inspector locator finds all inspections that any inspector is performing within an hour (before or after) of this inspection. If an inspector does not have an inspection within an hour of this inspection, they are assumed to be at their home / your office. This option will display a map for you to have a visual reference of the distances.

  • Primary Inspector: This option will open the primary inspector calendar for you to see the availability and quickly select the date and time.

  • All Inspectors: This works the same as the Primary Inspector option, but instead of showing the primary inspector it will show the availability for all the inspectors.

  • Send Reschedule Email and Send Reschedule SMS: If for some reason it's necessary to change the inspection date from what it was originally scheduled, you can easily use this button to send a Reschedule Email or SMS. You just have to select the template, the recipient, and click on Send.

NOTE: To Send Reschedule SMS it will be necessary to have SMS Premium in your ISN.

  • Availability Timeline: Below the Date/Time/Duration Control you will see a small timeline that will graphically display the inspector's availability:

Remember to add this Control only once in your Order Form. Multiple instances of the Date/Time/Duration control produce undesirable behaviors during the inspection order creation."
