This article explains how the Inspector List Control works.

(If you want to know the steps on how to add a new control, click here: Adding Controls to the Order Form)

Certainly, you have seen before the Inspector List Control in the Order Form. This Control will add the dropdown menu to choose the inspector that will be assigned to the order and perform the inspection, it will also display additional inspectors dropdowns in case you need to add more than one inspector to any inspection.

This Control is set up in your Order Form by default in the "Inspectors / Date & Time" Tab.

If for some reason you accidentally delete the tab and/or the Control, or want to customize your order form in a different way than it is currently set up, this is the option to add it.

These are the Inspector List settings that you have to set up before adding it to the Order Form Sections:

1.- It is a preview of how this Control will look like in the Order Form

2.- The Control Dropdown (here is where you select the Control to add to your system)

3.- How would you like to name the Control in your ISN

4.- Short description, you can use Inspector List, it's pretty straightforward

Once you have finished setting up the Control, click on the Add Control button to save it.

You will be sent back to the Order Controls. Now, if you want that Control to be added to the Order Form, make sure that the "Show in Order Form" option in the 6th column is checked in Green:

This is how it will look in your Order Form:

If you click on the "more inspectors" button below the Inspectors Dropdown menu, it will let you select up to 9 additional inspectors for the order.

You can also use the Inspector Requested checkbox if the agent or client specifically requested to have assigned any inspector as the Primary Inspector. This feature will allow you to review which inspectors were requested for orders, and the order information related to that inspector being requested. To know more about that report click on this link: Inspector Requested Report.

Remember to add this Control only once in your Order Form. Multiple instances of the Inspector List control produces undesirable behaviors during the inspection order creation.

NOTE: This Control is only available to be displayed in the Order Form.
