How to Turn On JavaScript in your Browser

The Inspection Support Network requires the use of JavaScript to fully function. Here is how you can turn on JavaScript in your Browser:

To turn on JavaScript, follow the directions below:

For further assistance, refer to your browser"s help by clicking (usually) on Help and then About

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x, 7.x and 8.x (Windows)

  1. Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.

  2. Click the Security tab.

  3. Click Custom level… in Security level for this zone.

  4. Scroll down to Scripting, near the bottom of the list.

  5. Under Active scripting, choose Enable.

  6. Click OK to leave Security Settings. Click OK to leave Internet Options.

Netscape Navigator 9.x (Windows)

  1. From the Tools drop-down menu at the top of the browser, select Options... .

  2. Select the Content section from the options at the top of the pop-up page.

  3. Check the "Block pop-up windows," "Load images automatically," "Enable JavaScript" and "Enable Java" boxes.

  4. Click OK.

Mozilla Firefox 3.x (Windows)

  1. Select Options... from the Tools drop-down menu.

  2. Select the Content section from the options at the top of the pop-up page.

  3. Check the "Block pop-up windows," "Load images automatically," "Enable JavaScript" and "Enable Java" boxes.

  4. Click OK.

Safari 3.x (Macintosh)

  1. Select Preferences... from the Safari drop-down menu.

  2. Select the Security section from the options at the top of the pop-up page.

  3. Under "Web Content," check the "Enable plug-ins," "Enable Java" and "Enable JavaScript"boxes.

  4. Close the Security window.
