The ISN Dashboard provides an at-a-glance view of important business information, upcoming work, and commonly used actions. You can customize the dashboard to display the information that is most relevant to your business.
Access the Dashboard
The Dashboard appears when you first log in to ISN.
You can also return to it at any time by selecting the ISN icon on the left side of the blue Main Menu at the top of the page.
Understand Dashboard Widgets
A widget is an individual panel on the Dashboard that displays a specific type of information or provides quick access to an action. For example, a widget may display upcoming inspections, show an inspection graph, allow you to search for an inspection, or provide shortcuts for creating an order or calendar event.
Each ISN account can have a different Dashboard layout and selection of widgets.
Default Dashboard Widgets
Your Dashboard may include widgets such as:
Welcome: Provides shortcuts to actions such as View Calendar, View Inspections, Add Event, Add New Order, and more.
Quick Search: Allows you to quickly find inspections associated with an agent, client, or agency.
Inspection Graphs: Displays graphs that help you review inspection activity and business performance.
Upcoming Inspections: Displays upcoming inspections and provides access to related options.
Configure Your Dashboard
1.-Select Configure in the upper-right corner of the Dashboard.
2.-Under Column Count, select the number of columns you want to display.
3.-Review the available widgets, those will be displayed on the left hand side.
4.-Use the toggle next to each widget title to turn the widget on or off.
5.-Use the search box to quickly find a widget by name instead of scrolling through the full list.
6.-If you want to restore the original Dashboard configuration, select Reset to Default Values.
This resets your Dashboard widgets to the default values included in your ISN account.
How to Build a Custom Widget
To create a widget based on the information most relevant to your business, select Build a Custom Widget.
You can choose a pre-built option and customize it, or select the option to start from scratch.
When starting from scratch, search for and select the data set or metric you want to use as the basis of the widget. For example, you can select Canceled Inspections and then select Next to continue configuring the widget.
Configure the Date Range
When creating a custom widget, you can choose the date range used for the information displayed.
Date range type | Available options |
Relative to Today | Today, Yesterday, Week to Date, Month to Date, Quarter to Date, or Year to Date |
Current Periods | This Week, This Month, This Quarter, or This Year |
Completed Periods | Last Week, Last Month, Last Quarter, or Last Year |
Fixed Range | Select the specific start and end dates you want to review |
Compare Results
You can also configure how the widget compares the selected information. Available options include:

These options help you create detailed widgets that show current activity alongside relevant historical data.
