The Breeze integration sends your upcoming inspections from ISN to your Breeze account, so your client, address and inspection details are already in Breeze when you arrive.
How it works
One Breeze account per office. ISN connects to Breeze with the single username and password saved in your office's Breeze settings. Every order is created in that Breeze account.
Breeze controls who can see orders. Once an order is in Breeze, which of your Breeze users can see it depends on their user settings in Breeze. ISN user permissions don't affect what anyone sees in Breeze.
Orders are sent automatically. ISN regularly checks for upcoming inspections and sends those scheduled from today through roughly the next 2–3 days.
Each order is sent automatically once. If you change an order after it was sent (new date, address or client), use Send to Breeze to send the update. See "Sending an order manually" below.
Setting up the integration
You need Owner Access in ISN to see the Breeze settings page.
Go to Settings > Office Settings.
Under Working With Other Applications, select Breeze.
Check Use Breeze.
Enter the username and password of your Breeze Account Owner or Account Manager. They must match your Breeze login exactly. A regular inspector's Breeze login won't work.
Choose which orders to send. Select specific Inspection Types and/or Services, or leave both unselected to send all orders.
Click Save.
Tip: If you change your Breeze password, update it here too. Otherwise orders will stop sending.
What ISN sends to Breeze
Client first and last name
Client phone number (home, then mobile, then work)
Email addresses for the client, buyer's agent and seller's agent (if none are on the order, the inspectors' emails are sent instead)
Property address, city, state and zip
Inspection date
The name of the order's primary inspector (Inspector 1)
Which orders are sent
An order is sent automatically only if all of these are true:
Breeze is turned on for the office, and the username and password are filled in.
The inspection is scheduled within the next 2–3 days.
The order has a street address and a zip code.
The order isn't canceled and isn't still in progress.
The order matches one of the Inspection Types or Services selected in the Breeze settings (if you selected any).
The order hasn't been sent to Breeze already.
Note: If an order is skipped because its inspection type or service wasn't selected, it won't be sent automatically later, even if you change the type. Use Send to Breeze instead.
Sending an order manually
Open the order.
Click Actions > Send to Breeze and confirm.
A confirmation message appears, and a note is added to the order.
You can send the same order again at any time, for example after changing the inspection date or address.
Checking whether an order was sent
Look at the order's notes:
•"Successfully submitted to Breeze (confirmation #…)": the order was sent automatically.
•"Manually sent to Breeze - confirmation: …": someone used Send to Breeze.
If neither note is there, the order hasn't been sent. Check the list in "Which orders are sent."
Troubleshooting
No orders are going to Breeze
When ISN can't send an order (for example, because the username or password is wrong), it creates a Breeze alert in ISN and emails the office manager.
While that alert is open, ISN stops sending all orders to Breeze for the office. To resume:
1. Check the username and password in the Breeze settings and confirm they match your Breeze Account Owner or Account Manager login.
2.Resolve the Breeze alert in ISN.
3.Use Send to Breeze on any upcoming orders that were missed.
One order is missing from Breeze
•Check the order's notes for a Breeze confirmation (see above).
•Confirm the order has an address and zip code and isn't canceled.
•Confirm its inspection type or service is selected in the Breeze settings.
•Use Actions > Send to Breeze to send it now.
Changes to an order aren't showing in Breeze
Orders are sent automatically only once. After you edit an order, use Actions > Send to Breeze to send the update.
Some inspectors can see orders in Breeze and others can't
ISN sends every order to the single Breeze account entered in your settings. Which users in that account can see an order is controlled in Breeze, not by ISN user permissions. Check each inspector's user settings in Breeze, or contact Breeze support for help with user access.
