InspectionBooking is an AI-powered voice answering assistant designed specifically for home inspection companies. Instead of sending callers to voicemail, InspectionBooking answers your phone, has a natural conversation with the caller, collects key information like the caller's name, phone number, and type of inspection needed, and creates an unscheduled inspection directly in ISN, providing the caller with clear next steps and expectations that their appointment is in the process of being booked.
To access InspectionBooking.ai, you will either work directly with an ISN Product Manager to get an invitation (early-stage rollout) or you can access it yourself in the Tools menu to set up your new account:
Once you have set up your account in InspectionBooking.ai, it will connect seamlessly with ISN. InspectionBooking.ai will be aware of your:
Services or Inspection Types
Inspectors
Availability and schedule
Fees (general ranges that depend on what information callers provide and what calculators you have set up in your ISN).
Notifications of Unscheduled Inspections from InspectionBooking.ai
If you would like to be notified by email of new Unscheduled Inspections from InspectionBooking.ai, you can go to Settings > Office Settings > Email Notifications. Check the following things to enable this email:
Make sure the checkbox titled "Notify the company when they have an Unscheduled Inspection from InspectionBooking.ai" is checked
Make sure the email template called "Notice of Unscheduled Inspection from InspectionBooking.ai" is selected
Add the email address(es) you want to receive the email
You can see notes from the InspectionBooking call in an order's Inspection Order Notes, from the entity called ISN.
You can also see what the AI voice assistant captured in Actions > View Order History. Anything with ISN (AI Assistant) in the User column came from InspectionBooking:
InspectionBooking.ai - Setup
In InspectionBooking.ai, there are a few things to review and set up before you start taking calls.
If you have a public facing number published on your website or other online business profile, set up forwarding to the number shown below. Note that you can conduct a test call by calling this number directly.
Click on Templates to set up your call answering flow. Note that there are required questions that the AI voice assistant will ask in order to create an Unscheduled Inspection in ISN: Name, Phone Number, Role (buyer or seller), and whether the caller is a real estate agent. You can choose to select other information to capture, such as: email address, property address, square footage, year built, preferred date/time of the inspection. Hit "Save Flow Options" when you've finished.
Next, click "Schedule" in the top right corner to set the days of the week and times that you'd like the AI voice assistant to be enabled. In the screenshot below, the AI voice assistant will answer from Monday-Friday from 6pm to 10pm.
InspectionBooking.ai - Other Features
Analytics: where users can see how many calls resulted in hangups, unscheduled orders, etc.
Call log: where users can view information about and listen to individual calls (helpful to understand the caller experience in more detail)
Multiple templates:
Add additional templates as needed (for example, an inspection company might want to create a Weekday After Hours template and a Weekend template).
Transfer to a human: add a breakthrough number if you want callers to be able to talk to a human at any point during a call
