How to Get Your 1099-K Form from CardPointe

This guide explains how to download your 1099-K tax form from the CardPointe merchant portal and what to do if you cannot find it.

Steps to Download Your 1099-K

  1. To access CardPointe, you will need your login credentials.

    1. Go to the Guardian website : https://inspectionpayments.com/

    2. Click on “Login into your Gateway” This option is usually located at the top left of the homepage. Clicking this will redirect you to the CardPointe login page.

    3. On the CardPointe page, enter your username and password to log in.

  2. Open the Reporting section
    After logging in, click the Reporting tab.

  3. Select Form 1099-K
    Navigate to the Form 1099-K tab.

  4. Choose the correct tax year
    CardPointe provides a separate 1099-K for each calendar year.
    Be sure to select the correct year and download both Summary View and Detail View.

  5. Download and save your form
    Click the Download button next to the desired year to save the PDF.
    Store these files in a secure location for your records.


What if I Don’t See My 1099-K?

There are several possible reasons:

  • You may not have met the IRS reporting threshold in payments.

  • 1099-K forms are typically available by mid-January. If you check earlier, the form may not be ready yet.

  • There could be an issue with your account or transaction processing. In this case, contact Guardian Support for assistance.
