How to Opt out an Agent from Porch

This article shows you how to opt specific agents out of Porch

There are three ways you can opt your agent out of Porch, without disabling the Porch connection entirely.

From the Agent Edit Screen

In your ISN navigate to Clients/Agents -- Agents -- Agents

Then, find the agent you'd like to opt out and click the pencil icon to the left of their name.

Check the box 'Do not send any emails or SMS messages relating to Porch'

Then hit Save Agent and you're all set!

From the Order Form

When editing your order, navigate to the section where you enter agent data and check the box for their record titled: 'Do not send any emails or SMS messages relating to Porch'.

Continue working in, and save your order as normal.

From the View Order Screen

Click the "Porch Status" icon located towards the top of the order summary page, as indicated below:

A small window pop-up will appear, then click "Opt Agent Out":

Then you are all set!

Please note that regardless or whether Porch Gold is enabled or not, your customers may choose to interact directly with other Porch Family companies or Porch services and will be able to choose to opt in to sharing their personal information for the purpose of receiving marketing calls or other purposes.
