Add a Personal Message when Sending Your Report

Implement these settings to add personal messages to your report emails.

Occasionally, you may want to send the client or Realtor additional information, or a special note, along with the report. With just a few settings changes, you can start adding messages to your report emails.

First, navigate to Settings --> Office Settings:

Then, click on the Display Options (Grids) button within the What we see on the ISN section:

In the new window, check the box, "Show the personal message box when emailing reports" and Save Settings.

For the next step of the process, navigate to your Email Templates (Email -- My Email Templates)

Next, click on the edit pencil for the email template you use to send your reports.

The template will generally be named Sending Report as a Link or Sending Report as an Attachment.

Now, scroll down to the body editor and add the %message% replacement value to your template where you would like your additional messages to be added.

In the following screenshot, you will see I added it to the top of the email.

Now, any time you send an email from the ISN using the Email Inspection Report icon, or Email Inspection Report from the Actions menu,

 you will have the ability to add an additional message.

After sending the report to myself, we can see that the message carried over properly. If no message is added to the box in the previous screenshot, no additional text is added to the email, and the %message% value is not shown to the recipient.
