This article will walk you through how the Mileage Estimator works and what the little diagrams represent.

For this feature, the inspector will need to be logged in as themselves or you will need to assume their user since this information is based on the inspector associated to each order.

Navigate to: Tools -- My mileage Estimates:

Then choose the Inspector, the month and year you are looking for, and click on View:

Now, to see the mileage from two locations click on the Calculate button:

After clicking on that option, the mileage will be displayed just like in the image below:

Also, the mileage total for the day will be updated (it will show the distance rounded):

The best way to understand the Mileage Estimator is to think of the diagram in words, here is an example:

  • Starting at "My Office" I drove 20.9 miles to Order 5407. (1)

  • I left Order 5407 and drove 3.6 miles to Order 5426. (2)

  • I left Order 5426 and drove 0.8 miles to Order 5420. (3)

  • I left Order 5420 and drove 1.7 miles to Order 5431. (4)

  • I left Order 5431 and drove 24.8 miles back to my Office. (5)

Using this report shows me that the inspector drove 48 Miles total for that day.

NOTE: If the mileage does not appear, you may need to click on the Validate Address button.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page to download the data in a report if needed.
